Lake Norman Sporting Arms and Range, Inc. is the parent company for The Range at Lake Norman, a state of the art 15 bay firearms training and service facility.
The Range at Lake Norman offer’s our customers the ability to purchase firearms, ammunition and accessories. We also provide our clients with top notch firearms and self defense training in our state of the art training room. We offer our customers the ability to relax and unwind in our members’ lounge, and view their friends and family from our impressive viewing area. The viewing area gives the viewer a safe and comfortable environment to watch the range activity.
Our new range is equipped with the most up to date targets, target tracks, controls and 6 rifle rated stalls. The entire range is under constant surveillance by our electronic monitoring system as well as our NRA trained Range Safety Officers (RSO). The RSO’s are there to ensure a safe and comfortable environment, as well as to assist our customers in the proper and safe use of firearms.
Our range is also equipped with rubber backstops from Action Target, that assist in providing a safer environment by reducing splatter from your ammunition, while at the same time offering the capability of being able to handle up to .50BMG ammunition.
The air handling system in our facility will provide you with the most comfortable environment of any range in the area by heating in the winter and cooling in the summer, as well by moving the air from the shooting area to the backstop to ensure that all lead contaminates and gunpowder residue are properly evacuated from the facility, thereby reducing your exposure to environmental contaminates, common in many ranges. We are also the only range in the Lake norman area to offer a full safety ceiling, ensuring all projectiles wind up down range, and provide a well lite facility through the use of LED lighting in our entire shooting area.
